Being a member of North Texas Dental Society is your strongest voice in organized dentistry which affects how you practice dentistry through legislative action. It gives you the opportunity to control your destiny through our legislative action and lobbying for the good of Dentistry. We are very powerful at the State and National levels at initiating or changing legislation that affect the way we practice Dentistry.

Keeping a finger on the pulse of your profession is important not only to survive and excel in your own business, but also for the profession to survive in the format that we know it today...outside forces are continually trying to change the way we practice dentistry.

We are the only Peer-Review mechanism available to you and the only one recognized by the legal system.

We offer a New Dentists Committee, which allows New Dentists to get together a few times a year for social events and provide a support network for new dentists.

The society allows us to experience fellowship with one another and the ability to teach and learn from each other. Without the dental society, we become an isolated island.

We participate in community service opportunities such as, TMOM, Rite to Smile, and Donated Dental Services. These services impact the community and help those less fortunate than ourselves
