The 2010 “Give Kids a Smile” project is underway.  School nurses are being contacted and recruited to select children in need of dental care.  The membership of the North Texas Dental Society has been alerted to the need for volunteer doctors and recruits are being actively sought.  Our goal of serving over 150 students within our communities across North Texas is ambitious, but doable.

How can you help?  If you are a doctor in the NTDS, first and foremost we need you to volunteer to treat 4-8 GKAS patients.  General dentists and specialists are needed.  If you cannot help in providing treatment, please consider making a financial contribution to help defray the cost of this event.

Support for the GKAS event is not limited to dental professionals – if you have a heart for helping the less fortunate among us, we invite you to contribute to this worthy cause.  Help us help them – let your patients, friends, family members, and business associates know what a great opportunity this is to be a part of something that truly makes a difference in the lives of our children.
